We appreciate that the COVID-19 pandemic is putting a strain on businesses and households. All levels of government are working hard to keep the economy sustainable, including the building and construction industry.
Safety at our Office and yard
Whilst our yard and office remains open to provide essential service of building supplies, we have put in place some preventative measures designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
For your health and wellbeing as well as our staff, we have adopted Queensland Health’s recommendations for social distancing and cleaning. These include:
- Additional cleaning and sanitisation of surfaces, countertops and EFTPOS
- Maintaining social distancing of at least 1.5 metres
- Providing antibacterial wipes on the counter for your use
- Preferring cashless payment options
If you have recently travelled overseas, are feeling unwell, or exhibiting any symptoms of COVID 19, we ask that you contact us online or by phone instead of visiting our Dinmore store.

Due to increased health risks and restrictions on face-to-face interactions we recommend pre-ordering via contactus@directsteel.com.au and phone orders and we can arrange direct delivery to site.
